Global – Senior Care provides a wide range of medical & non-medical home care services in Calgary  & Vancouver to suit your every care need.  Our general home health care services include:

We provide four levels of home care which all include physical, cognitive & social activities (PCS activities) for clients who can benefit from these activities. If your complete care needs don’t fall within one of our packages, not to worry.

Our Director of Care will work with you to create a personalized care package which will not only provide immediate care service for healthy daily living but also address the overall big picture when it comes to your health and focus on early intervention.


Care Package- Level 1

For clients in need of homemaking services such as meal preparation, housekeeping and companionship (includes care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease)

Care Package- Level 2

For clients in need of companionship, housekeeping, meal preparation, assistance with medication, outings & trips to and from medical appointments (includes care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease)

Care Package- Level 3

For clients in need of level 2 care + physical assistance with activities of daily living including toileting, bathing & grooming (includes care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease)

Care Package- Level 4

For clients who require a level 3 package + services of an LPN or RN which may include wound care, post–operative care or palliative care (includes care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease)

Physical, Cognitive & Social Activities (PCS)15

Global Senior  Care believes there is an important link between physical and mental health. Being physically active, strengthens muscles and bones, helps lower blood pressure, increases energy levels and reduces the risk of depression. More energy also increases balance (reactions times) and also mental alertness which assists with memory problems.

It is a known fact that majority of seniors are susceptible to isolation and depression when they do not stay socially active. These seniors are then less likely to stay physically active and eat properly and the effects of not exercising and poor nutrition can rapidly decline health.

We strive to help keep you or your loved one as physically healthy, cognitively stimulated and socially interactive as possible. Staying socially active is a vital component to a healthy mind.

For clients who are able and can benefit from these activities, all our packages will include:

  • Physical exercises (rehabilitation exercise prompts)
  • Cognitive exercises (mind-challenging games)
  • Social interactive activities (outings or in-home social activities)
